Conversation Over Borders launched in May 2020 in response to the social isolation experienced across the UK during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Very quickly, we flourished into a community hundreds strong of people working together to ensure that everyone has equal opportunities to succeed and settle into life in the UK. Our success has been driven by our community values of togetherness, respect and collaboration and our strength gained by creating space where everyone's ideas are listened to equally.

We registered as a Community Interest Company in March 2021 and with the support of our partners and funders we have continued to grow and expand into new areas.

We offer one-to-one English & Befriending, our Digital Inclusion Programme, bespoke Wellbeing Programme, creative Storytelling and our cultural exchange projects, including our monthly cooking classes.

Our Central Team of volunteers and our service users work closely with staff and our Board to collaboratively direct and deliver our work.
