When the riots in the summer of 2024 led to hotels housing asylum seekers being targeted with arson, we put out a simple request: that members of the public send us messages of welcome for us to share with people affected by the attacks.
Over 3,000 people sent messages within two weeks. We have now delivered these messages to asylum seekers in 34 cities across the UK and the campaign has become a movement.
